We are looking for a Director, Worldwide Facilities, to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies.  This role will be based in San Jose, CA.  This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead global facilities management, including directing day-to-day operations, maintenance, facilities construction, real estate, and physical security for all Bloom facilities.
• Coordinate large-scale facility projects such as moves, space planning/utilization, plans to accommodate new machines, personnel, production equipment.
• Must have experience working in a manufacturing work environment. 
• Collaborate with company leadership on space planning; evaluate and advise on the design and allocation.
• Manage/oversee the construction of Bloom facilities. Create and manage real estate strategy.

Director, Business Development

This teammate will need be accountable for a portfolio across Northern California to Alaska.

Our Business Development “Team Pegasus” partners with Operations and other teams to build and execute growth plans in assigned geographic markets and in addition, identifies and develops strategic growth opportunities for innovative relationships and leads successful expansion of existing relationship. As the Director, Business Development you will direct strategic new business and ensures existing and incremental priority hospital, health system and accountable provider relationships are maintained. In this role, you work with Health Systems, Hospitals, and Accountable Care Organizations in collaboration with DaVita internal teams, to develop Value-Based Care and core kidney care relationships. Relationships built and maintained include, but not limited to: kidney disease management, care coordination (CKD through ESKD), development of new dialysis centers, joint venture partnerships, acquisitions, post-acute services, acute dialysis, and discharge planning services.

This role, reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Development, is based remotely but the ideal candidate is based within proximity of the market comprised in Northern California.  Additionally, requires >30-50% of time externally with partners and internal team meetings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

• Development – serve as regional development executive within a $1+B operating group. Lead initiatives that drive long-term growth as part of division senior leadership team and Develop lines of business that enhance DaVita’s service offerings.
• Strategy – partner with Hospital division leadership team to analyze market trends and identify opportunities/threats. Develop plans for division to achieve Company’s objectives related to revenue, EBITDA, capital, presence, and other key measures.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a Regional Operations Director (ROD), you'll provide strategic and tactical leadership, counsel, and direction to the field management of those assigned facilities to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic and ethical patient care.

Additionally, this position identifies and develops strategic growth opportunities, monitors division performance, and works closely with Divisional Vice President or SVP to develop competitive strategies in alignment with DaVita’s mission and values. Position has budget and P&L accountability. This position is a key member of DaVita’s field management team.

This Financial Services Director will be a Payments expert working with a full spectrum of industry stakeholders to help them navigate the changing payments landscape – disruptive technology, regulation, changing customer expectations – to develop growth strategies and deliver business results through well delivered implementation.

Guidehouse Consulting, a leader in providing expert services across various industries, is seeking a Payments Director. This role is pivotal in driving our payment modernization initiatives, focusing on digital assets, operations, and technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across the intersection of payments modernization, digital transformation, and operational risk and compliance, particularly within banks, card networks, non-bank financial institutions, and payment technology companies.

As a key member of our leadership team, the Payments Director will be instrumental in shaping our future in the rapidly evolving payments landscape.

This position will be responsible for:

• Sales and Business Development:
  • Lead sales initiatives and foster relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop and execute strategies for business expansion in the payments domain.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in emerging payment technologies and digital assets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Project Execution and Management:
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring excellence and adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to execute projects related to payment systems and technologies.
• Capability Development:
  • Enhance the organization’s payments capabilities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in payment technologies.
• Risk and Compliance Expertise:
  • Provide expert guidance on risk management and compliance matters related to payment systems.
  • Ensure that payment solutions adhere to regulatory standards and best practices.
• Thought Leadership and Subject Matter Expertise:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in payments, digital assets, and related technologies.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, and research.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship:
  • Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

What You Will Need:

The individual we seek should have a solid and diverse management consulting and client service background. This person must incorporate outstanding leadership and people management skills, financial services industry expertise, consulting project and business management, and general business skills. The right person will have the ability to be hands-on in a business development role and in the delivery of the project.

To be successful at Guidehouse, a Director needs to be sales savvy and capable while at the same time have the substance required to add value on projects and lead the project teams. The incoming director will have:

Proven experience in a senior role related to payments, digital assets, or financial technologies. - Extensive knowledge in risk and compliance for financial institutions. Strong background in consulting, with an emphasis on financial services. Demonstrated ability in sales, business development, and client relationship management.  Experience in leading and executing complex projects. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced industry.

• 12+ years of Payment Modernization / Digital Assets related experience with proven experience in a senior role and viewed as an industry leader related to payments, digital assets, or financial technologies.

• Demonstrated experience leading high-valued, complex, Digital Payment solutions: strategy, design, architecture, process engineering, testing, operating model and org design, implementation, and change management
• Viewed as key leader within the Payments consulting practice preferably inclusive of:  FinTech trends, Real Time Payments (RTP), and Embedded Payments
• Proven ability to successfully lead large, complex client service delivery teams that deliver the highest quality consulting engagement work to timeline, scope, and budget at sizes of $2M+
• Demonstrated strong network of potential sales targets and proven history of consulting engagement sales of $several M+ annually year over year
• A thorough understanding of risk management and compliance with respect to payments
• Flexibility with respect to travel up to 50%
• Bachelor’s degree from Accredited university or college

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced challenging environment.
• MBA or MA/MS degree in a related field a plus
• Experience in EMV (chip & pin), contactless, open fare collection (transit), mobile payments and offers, blockchain, QR code, tokenization, express checkout, two-factor authentication (3-D Secure), prepaid and virtual card
• Proven leader who can work directly with client senior management and lead Guidehouse colleagues
• Aptitude for networking and sales

What You Will Do:

• Guide, mentor, and provide direct leadership to Managers, Senior Consultants, and Consultants
• Lead the development of business intelligence (BI) dashboards in PowerBI and/or Tableau across a myriad of different domains such as workforce, finance, procurement, DEIA, grants, etc.
• Lead the extract, transform, load (ETL) of data across a variety of internal and external data sources to support integration into BI dashboards using open-source programming languages such as R and/or Python
• Advise the client on recommendations and areas of opportunity as it relates to insights gleaned from analytics products
• Collaborate with both technical and functional stakeholders
• Lead and support business development and go-to-market analytics initiatives in support of Account Teams across the firm

What You Will Need:

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree required
• 8+ years of hands-on development experience with business intelligence platforms
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with open-source programming such as R or Python or SQL
• 5+ years of experience leading analytics engagements is required
• 5+ years of consulting experience with the Federal government is required
• 5+ years of hands-on experience providing proposal writing support, go-to-market support, and interfacing with prospective new clientele as it relates to the field of data analytics

• Master's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or Data Science is preferred
• 3+ years of experience developing predictive models
• Knowledge and expertise of AI/ML techniques
