Hours: Full-time, term-time only, 08:15 am - 15:30 pm

The Special Needs Resource Base (SNRB) plays an essential role in helping students achieve both academic and personal growth, providing tailored support within a warm school community.
The school is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join their team in the Special Needs Resource Base.
Ideal candidates will bring a positive outlook, patience, and a sincere interest in supporting young people with additional needs.
- Assisting students with toileting and personal care in a respectful, dignified manner.
- Providing tube feeding to students who require it, following all safety and hygiene protocols.
- Supporting students' learning in partnership with teachers and other staff to help them access the curriculum and realise their full potential.
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families to foster a safe, inclusive environment.
- Keeping accurate records of care and support provided in alignment with school policies.
- Experience or willingness to train in toileting, personal care, and tube feeding.
- A caring and empathetic nature, with a passion for supporting young people's development.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Flexibility and resilience to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
- Previous experience in a school or care setting is beneficial, though applicants with a compassionate outlook and a readiness to learn are warmly encouraged.
