The Governors at St. Mary’s RC Primary School are looking for an excellent Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their hardworking and dedicated staff team, ideally working within an upper KS2 classroom supporting the class teacher with small groups and interventions.
Although this position is for a general TA, it will also require working as part of a team of staff who currently support a female student 1-1 with an EHCP who requires personal care.
This post is for a Jan 2025 start and is fixed term for 12 months.
This post if for 32.5 hours per week, we welcome any applicants that fit the criteria to apply and preferable hours can be discussed at interview.

The successful candidate will have:
- The ability to inspire and engage with children
-Experience of working with children with additional needs.
-Good Numeracy and Literacy skills, at least a level 2 NVQ or GCSE level A*-C (English and Maths)

-The ability to follow direction but also to have initiative and take the lead
