Visa is looking for an experienced and passionate businessperson to join our Money Movement Team in the AUNZSP (Australia, New Zealand & South Pacific) cluster, focusing on Business Development across our Banks and Fintech customers across our suite of Money Movement products including Visa Direct and Visa B2B Connect
Visa Direct is a payment service that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers) to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to Visa accounts around the world using push payment technology, i.e. Original Credit Transaction (OCT). Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfer, person to micro-business transfer (e.g. payments to landscaper), funds disbursement (e.g. insurance claim disbursements), bill payment, cross-border remittance and more.
Visa B2B Connect is an innovative multilateral payment network, offering banks an alternative cross-border payment solution that can address the unpredictability associated with the current cross-border payment flows.
The Money Movement team is responsible for leading Visa’s efforts to support all channels and forms of Money Movement enabling banks, remitters, merchants, enablers and FinTech’s to collect and send payments to consumers and businesses around the world.
For the AUNZSP market specifically, the individual will work with front line teams, taking support from hub teams, to generate awareness, actively pitch to Banks, FinTech’s, Acquirers and Merchants and build a pipeline, deal structuring through to deal closure. For existing programs, the individual will monitor and drive utilization and revenue realization.

Visa is an organization that emphasize on collaboration, and teamwork, a matrix organization, the person must be able to work along with both functional managers, however, maintain the ability to drive conversation both internally and externally to ensure Visa achieve a positive and right outcome for our customers and stakeholders.
Organizational savvy and interpersonal skills are critical, as we interface with specialized product groups, financial institution sales, merchant and acquiring sales, client consulting, marketing and corporate communications, legal, and finance to coordinate the end goal of achieving aspirational objectives.
What we expect of you, day to day: Achieve or exceed sales targets across the region
- Achieve annual sales goals of Money Movement (Visa Direct, Visa B2B Connect), in partnership with local product and leads
- Take clients through the sales cycle from prospecting, solutioning, deal structure, contracting and deal closure
- Develop sales strategy for sales acceleration, including determining high potential client targets, use cases and verticals, etc.
- Drive lead-generation and prospecting program and ensure good response to new leads
- Drive key workstreams for Money Movement growth
- Work with existing Visa clients and their Account Executives to cross-sell Money Movement products where a good fit exists
- Lead prospecting to non-Visa clients to find the right contacts and build relationships, and sell where a good fit exists
- Work with cross functional partners across the region to ensure we have what we need to be successful with our clients
- Work with Money Movement Product teams to develop the go-to-market strategy and ensure we have the right value proposition and product construct to meet client needs
- Ensure sellers are ready and able to sell Money Movement products to clients
- Work with the training liaison to drive initial and ongoing sales training across the client sales cycle
- Ensure sellers know about and have access to client-ready, legal approved sales materials
- Help sellers trouble-shoot and overcome client objections
- Develop and execute a process to capture client feedback on product and value-added services, and socialize with other Visa teams
- Work with regional global product teams and operations to understand state of Issuer readiness, and state of client implementations and post-launch support
