We are looking for an experienced and confident leader to join our college as Head of MIS. This role will be a senior management post and responsible for the data, information & funding integrity of the organisation through the management of appropriate information systems and ensure timely delivery of ILR and associated funding returns. The Head of MIS will support the College’s strategic pledges and feature as a key advisor and funding expert to the Senior Management Team in funding decision-making, supporting the strategy to achieve further growth, with proactive analysis and recommendations.

Someone with the ability to persuade, influence, listen and foster effective partnerships with others.
A person with a confident approach to decision-making and a proven track record in high level management and use of data for decision making and getting others to use data
What we are looking for someone with:
Extensive technical expertise and experience of sector data management, analysis, reporting and compliance.
Demonstrable experience of working in a regulated educational / training environment and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the challenges facing the FE sector.
Up to date knowledge, interpretation and understanding of the sector including FE/HE funding mechanisms and methodologies
Strong analytical and planning skills with the ability to interpret, evaluate and communicate complex information accurately and effectively
