- Serves as the senior engineer in the Engineering Division and as the technical advisor to Directorate of Public Works (DPW).
- Responsible for performing technical, administrative, managerial, and professional work related to contract administration, quality assurance, facility repairs, energy conservation management and oversight, and facility operations and maintenance.
- Provides engineering support for a wide range of garrison projects, including design and review, construction field representation, project development and management, and contracting support.
- Administers, manages, directs, and supports the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) for the multimillion-dollar Base Operations (BASOPS) Maintenance Contract of the Division.
- Represents the requirements and priorities of the operations and maintenance functional area in overall Public Works planning and programming.
