- As a Research Psychologist, you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:
- Communicate and inform Army leaders at the 4-star level concerning research outcomes and best practices to ensure a strategic understanding of the nuance and application of human performance optimization research.
- Apply appropriate statistical and analytic procedures to achieve empirical solutions to optimize Soldier physical performance.
- The incumbent will provide subject matter expertise to develop, direct, implement, coordinate and oversee empirical research designed to optimize Soldier and unit physical readiness and reduce injuries and attrition.
- Initiate programmatic changes to the U.S. Army physical readiness training and assessment doctrine and independently make changes to the Army’s program of instruction to reflect best practices in physical fitness training and health promotion.
