- Exercise supervision over the daily activities of a full-time staff which includes supervisors assigned to execute the functions of the Reserve Personnel Actions Center (RPAC).
- Compile and analyze data to monitor operational effectiveness.
- Monitor civilian manpower data, identify areas of concern, and develop strategies to maintain sufficient staffing.
- Prepare and provide information and decision briefings to senior officials and headquarters staff.
- Establish operations goals for the RPACs and assure effective and efficient execution.
- Develop short and long range plans for the execution of RPAC operations.
- Consolidate input from supervisors to formulate and justify operational budget and resource requests.
- Develop performance standards and evaluate the work performance of subordinates.
- Evaluate programs and take action to resolve problems and deficiencies while increasing efficiency and economy of RPAC functions and operations.
- Conduct staff visits to provide assistance and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Review, analyze and interpret regulations, directives, reports, and legislative changes that impact military personnel and pay operations.
- Manage complex military human resources, finance, and administrative technical work that involves coordination, integration and consolidation to provide a completed work product or service.
