Job Description:

3. Familiar with the latest design standards such as Eurocode, British standards, ACI, ASCE, PIANC, CIRIA etc.
4. Well-versed in software e.g. Auto CAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Geoslope, PLAXIS etc.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct survey setting out, as-built survey and settlement monitoring for civil & marine structures.

- Perform levelling, traversing, setting-out points, survey data collecting, topographic surveying, boundary surveys, and etc.

- Positioning of the marine piles and concrete precast vertical walls in marine construction.

- Understand and read the engineering drawings and work out the setting out coordinates.

- Manage the land surveying work schedule and carry out the setting out accordance with engineering drawing to be utilized by construction project team.

- Manage and maintain survey instruments, survey data and records for reporting.

- Maintain surveying equipment in good condition and arrange for regular calibration of surveying equipment.

- Understand the Singapore Plane Coordinate System and coordinates transformation.

- Understand the Singapore Height Datum and Datum transformation.

- Liaise with Registered Surveyors for pre-computation plan drawing and as-built survey.

- Positively work with management and operation team.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:

• Experience:

  • Experience with large-scale civil engineering projects, including coastal or marine environments, is preferred.
• Technical Skills:

General Overview

• To assist the Project Manager on project site work by focusing mainly on the aspects of construction, safety quality management, and project coordination of projects and maintenance works and to ensure smooth work progression and completion within target time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare method statements,
• Liaise with the stakeholders (e.g. clients, consultants) on permits, drawings, and design matters. Ensure the quality of all construction work performed on site are in accordance with the Company’s Integrated Management System, specifications, and applicable legislative requirements.
