An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our large multi-disciplinary cancer research team in GI and Lymphoma as a biological specimen coordinator and data manager. An active interest in cancer research, and the ability to work semi-independently within a multi-disciplinary team are essential.

The role will be primarily based in Sutton site for the first instance. However, you will be expected to work across both our sites in Fulham Road- Chelsea and Sutton Surrey as and when required.

The post holder will work within the Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Trust (RMHNHST)and the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) Tissue Collection Facility and responsible, in conjunction with the current GI and Lymphoma biological specimen co-ordinators and senior biological specimen coordinators for collecting, cataloging and processing clinical samples (usually tumour and blood specimens) belonging to the GI and Lymphoma Clinical Trials Unit, supporting the unit across both locations of the Trust.

Band 6 Therapeutic Radiographer- Sutton site. Full time 12 month fixed term

In addition to 6 Elekta linear accelerators, the Sutton dept has an Elekta MR linear accelerator, Cyberknife unit and Gulmay superficial unit and soon to be installed 2 Radixact units..The department has a Siemens Confidence CT scanner and utilises multi- modality imaging for planning.

The department is proactive with regards to role development, and we have a range of advanced radiographers who provide support, specialist knowledge and care to our urology, lung and neuro-oncology patients. MRI safety training now forms part of the annual education that is offered to staff, along with support for individual development. The in-house education team also provide ongoing technical and pastoral support after a thorough induction which includes a named mentor to manage any development needs.

We are looking for someone with an excellent technical background who is confident and proficient in delivering advanced radiotherapy including VMAT and breath-hold techniques. SABR is routine on the linacs, and with the addition of a M6 CyberKnife, we have expanded our busy SRS service to Sutton.

1.1. The post-holder will be responsible for carrying out radiotherapy processes as prescribed, carefully and accurately and assisting in the operational management of a specialist highly complex radiotherapy work base, which may be a treatment unit, a brachytherapy unit, a CT scanner, VS area or a treatment preparation area, and supervising the immediate radiographic team in the absence of a team leader.

The Job Description outlines the role of the Clinical trials Pharmacy Administrator. You will be expected to complete a wide variety of administrational tasks including assisting with implementation of paperwork, scanning, filing and coordinating documentation in both paper and electronic forms. As a result of unit expansion and portfolio development an exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 4 Biological Specimen Coordinator, within the haematology research department to work across our Sutton and Chelsea branches.

This is a pivotal role and you will be part of a multidisciplinary team including experienced medical and research staff, taking part in an exciting range of clinical research studies. Ideally with previous clinical research experience, you will work within the guidelines and policies for the conduct of clinical trials, ensuring high standards of practice in accordance with the principles of GCP.

The post holder will work within the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) and the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) Tissue Collection Facility and be responsible, in conjunction with the other Biological Specimen Coordinator(s) within the Haematology Unit for collecting, logging, and processing clinical samples (usually tumour and blood specimens) belonging to the Haematology Clinical Trials Unit.
