About the role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Specialist Practitioner of SEND to join the team. What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an ambitious English teaching specialist to work as part of the English department here at Colne Valley High School. You will be instrumental in inspiring and motivating our students. You will play a key role in helping to drive the Academy forward, raising standards and creating outstanding life chances for students.

We are looking to recruit a teaching professional who is truly passionate about teaching English. We are looking for someone who wants to inspire, who is committed to developing students; someone who is excited by learning and has a desire to develop a career within an ambitious Multi-Academy Trust. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and driven by the desire to deliver outstanding Teaching and Learning.

You will have:

• A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
• The ability to teach to GCSE standard.

• Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
