The School is looking to take on board a highly driven higher level teaching assistant (HLTA) who will be working across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The position will be long-term term leading to a permanent position in the school as a higher level teaching assistant (HLTA.) The responsibilities of a higher level teaching assistant (HLTA) will include working collaboratively with the teaching team to support subjects in the National Curriculum. You will be delivering planned interventions in subjects to support students in up-levelling the learning, and development. The role will also involve delivering planned lessons to a variety of classes.

A successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will have:

• The relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools at Level 4 or above.
• An up-to-date knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• Possess knowledge of Intervention strategies,
• Be able to demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development,
• Be proactive, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable.

A fantastic school in Plymouth is looking for a SEND teaching assistant to work with students with autism and behavioural difficulties in a primary environment. The role is initially a long-term temporary position with a permanent opportunity available for the right applicant.
