- Source new client leads and develop referrals.
- Fully manage clients accounts, ensuring all client requirements across trade lanes are met with consistent follow-up.
- Engage actively in the sales process, including proposals, quotations, Bunker Adjustment Factor notices, rate negotiations, and closing spot ad hoc rates.
- Ensure Dead Freight contracts are executed smoothly, with proactive communication for DF arrangements.
- Achieve sales targets for various trade/service lanes and oversee agency performance.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and strong relationships through regular calls, meetings, and prompt resolution of complaints with corrective actions.
- Identify client needs, opportunities, and key purchasing factors to offer customized solutions.
- Respond to daily queries on products and services.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and share key information.
- Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product developments by maintaining regular contact with agents and clients to recommend appropriate actions.
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies.
- Maintain an up-to-date customer database with a record of sales activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or degree in any fields
- Sales experience in Shipping Liner company
- Able to work under minimal supervision
