Perform regular maintenance checks to prevent leaks and structural issues. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Report safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately. Work with other tradespeople (e.g., builders, electricians) to coordinate roofing projects. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about project progress and challenges. Perform final inspections of completed work to verify quality and durability. Responsibilities: Manage roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Keep accurate records of materials used, work performed, and time spent on tasks. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide project estimates. Mentor junior tilers and apprentices, providing guidance on techniques and safety practices. Stay updated on industry trends and new materials to improve service offerings.   Qualification & Experience Certificate or diploma in roofing or construction-related field. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in roof tiling or a similar role, particularly in waterproofing or roof repairs. Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and tools. Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety standards. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
