Job Title: Analytical Scientist - Synergy

Contract: Permanent

Location: Sandwich, Kent

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000

Synergy are currently working with a client that are looking for an Analytical Scientist to join their team. The client organisation is based in Sandwich, Kent.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with previous experience of instrumental methods in a pharmaceutical environment and a hands-on approach to their own development.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Carry out all analytical activities required to deliver new respiratory and other medicinal products to clinical studies and commercialization
• Execute experiments to generate scientific understanding in the development of analytical and materials science methods and during formulation development of new products.
• Perform analyses related to product development, stability, and process scale up.
• Process data; highlight aberrant or suspect results and work with supervisor to investigate.
• Maintain laboratory documentation in accordance with the principles of data integrity and good documentation practices.
• Contribute to project delivery by carrying out other tasks (e.g. laboratory housekeeping, ordering, shipping samples) as required.
• Adherence to all applicable policies and procedures, including those relating to EHS, GMP, GCP, Quality and Compliance, consistent with the role

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor of Science Degree (for example Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Forensics) or equivalent, or substantial practical work experience.
• Experience with HPLC / UPLC
• Able to organise tasks allocated by supervisor and plan own work to consistently achieve output of high-quality results in a timely manner, following established analytical methods and operating procedures.
• Able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiar with basic principles of chemistry.
• Good IT skills (including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

SRG is delighted to be supporting a clinical trial manufacturer with their search for a quality assurance specialist. Due to their ongoing expansion of the business, they are now looking for 2 quality assurance specialists within steriles.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to oversee the progression and timely execution of quality assurance activities.
• Manage deviations, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Oversee the documentation system, including reviewing and approving standard operating procedures, batch manufacturing records, and other controlled documentation.
• Ensure effective management of the document lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices
• Evaluating site compliance and implementing improvements through internal audits.

Requirements

• Experience in quality assurance within a pharmaceutical facility.
• Experience with process validation and cleaning validation and verification.
• Experience working on a sterile site would be advantageous
• Experience managing validation lifecycles from creation to retirement.
• Expert for equipment, facility, process change management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English, and computer literacy.
• Ability to manage your own workload, meet deadlines & prioritise accordingly
• Good attention to detail and high standards in all work output.

SRG are working with a Global Consumer company to help them find a Quality Assistant to join their busy team.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• To collect and test for statistical evaluation, base sheet and finished product samples, for compliance to the ANDREX finished product specification.
• To validate correlation of Lab test equipment & satellite lab test equipment.
• To provide the Mill quality analyst with 'up to the minute' information relating to quality testing issues To provide ad hoc testing to support shift, day work, and product development teams.
• Assist with Continual Improvement of the Quality Management System Administration of Quality Management system relating to testing.
• Administration of test equipment conformance, and certificates of schedules of calibration
• To help develop a Quality culture within mill teams by providing a standard of excellence in quality related issues.

• Has a good understanding and substantial practical experience of modern laboratory techniques, including HPLC.
• Able to work with others to plan the day-to-day work of a small team.
• Able to work autonomously to deliver multiple tasks, planning own work to consistently achieve output of high-quality results in a timely manner.
