As a global payment facilitator that interconnects different payment options and types, they specialise in helping Chinese companies to scale the global market.
As part of the Operational Risk team, you will assist in operational risk management, risk
incident reporting and analysis, provide independent risk oversight, participate in Enterprise- wide risk framework and help drive the improvement of the control environment in company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with all functional teams to guide and exercise oversight on risk registers relating to operational risks, incident reporting, process gaps and controls analysis, and remediation efforts.
- Analysis - analyzing data from various systems, understanding system logic, investigating risk events and identifying root cause of incidents.
- Risk Monitoring - to provide support in risk monitoring activities and recurring communication with management and senior management stakeholders on observations and findings.
- Process Enhancements - participate in process enhancements initiatives and projects to optimize process flows and improve operational efficiencies.
- Promote awareness of operational risk management and support the maintenance of a healthy risk culture.
- Support projects and initiatives which may impact the Enterprise Risk framework for the organization.
- Participation in risk committee meetings and present materials and follow-up actions.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years in risk management or experience in analytical roles at financial institutions, tech or fintech companies preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance or related disciplines.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to segregate widely variant data and feedbacks into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written / verbal) skills, comfortable with providing training, presentation, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a team.

- Interest in the fintech industry and ability to work in a start-up environment.
- Basic understanding of digital payments, and end-to-end operational process flows.
- Excel macro-proficient / VBA skill is an added advantage.
