Commissioning Engineer - MEICA

I am looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer - MEICA to work in the Copthorne area for a Tier 1 contractor on the Thames Tideway tunnel. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.
Role: Commissioning Engineer
Location: Copthorne
Contract: Freelance
Rate: £430-480 per day

Duties will include:
- Ensuring that all relevant health and safety documents are correctly recorded
- Supervising work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with method statements and work Instructions from the project manager
- Recognising the health and safety considerations are central to all tasks and contribute to ensure safe working environments for all
- Actively supporting the Site Manager to maintain and enforce safety standards as required by statute and in accordance with Safety Policies
- Understanding of technical MEICA works
- Control panels and control systems experience
- Supervising the installation of process packages and field pipework in an water process environment
- Completion of documentation and equipment checks.
- Preparing the set up of instrumentation and scaling instruments back to the main control system.
- Adherence to all H&S legislation, documentation and procedures
Skills Required:
- Have a strong background in the water industry
- Familiar within the Thames Water Utilities (preferred)
- CSCS qualified for managing safely
- First Aid 3 day course
- Valid Full UK Driving LIcence
- Safe delivery of water projects to time, cost, and quality
- Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibility
- Thames Water Passport
