Project Manager (Recladding) - South West London - Immediate Start

A Project Manager is required to oversee the recladding package on a large residential building in South West London. The scheme has just commenced on site and consists of the replacement of non compliant cladding materials across 6 blocks.

This is a logistically challenging London site close to a busy railway line and several other large construction projects. Candidates ideally will come from a civil engineering / brickwork / metsec / rainscreen / curtain walling / façade background and have managed on projects of a similar calibre to this.

The successful Project Manager will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressurised environment and have proven experience working to tight deadlines. This is a temp to perm role for a minimum of 12 months or until the completion of the project in December 2025.

M&E Manager - South East London - Residential Projects

An M&E Manager is required to oversee mechanical and electrical packages on a large new build residential project in South East London. The project is valued at £80m+ and is due to complete in December 2025. Ideally the M&E Manager will also have some previous experience of working on large mixed use projects. Our client is open to both mechanical or electrical backgrounds and will consider candidates with past experience with either relevant main contractors / developers or specialist M&E subcontractors.

Location: Central London

Salary: £55,000 per year + benefits

Job Purpose:

You will be part of a leadership team motivating a group of highly skilled engineers on this state-of-the-art film lot. Ensuring that the team delivers all work to the highest standard first time, with health and safety at the forefront of what we do.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Operational site lead - responsible for the day to day operations

* Support the clients property portfolio admin, ensure accurate document libraries are maintained and occupancy data is available at all times

* Supports the overall strategic vision and delivers best in class operations to help enhance the workplace experience

* Attend client meetings, have good knowledge of site operations, encourage active improvements & provide feedback to clients

* Establish and maintain safe systems of work; working closely with the Account and Management team to maintain the reporting procedure for accidents and near misses

* Maintain a communication network to raise Health & Safety issues; ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks are documented and communicated effectively

* Understand, anticipate and deliver customer (internal and external) needs while building effective relationships

* Attend and lead all Audits for compliance with relation to operational activities

* Assist to manage, train and support the Workspace site team including but not limited to effective services of Hospitality, M&E, Front of House, Cleaning, Finance, Helpdesk and Security - support to cover for all of the above roles during absence or times of high workload

* Lead in supporting the client in maintaining ISO accredited management systems and retaining accreditation's

* Manage, develop and improve use of Helpdesk system, operations and procedures

* Ensure the fabric of the building both externally and internally is maintained and serviced to a high standard in accordance with the management contract and agreed budgets

* To be responsible for all the health and safety compliance onsite, including that of third -party services providers and maintenance records; this includes ensuring appropriate management systems are regularly updated and monitored in accordance with all the Health and Safety requirements

* To oversee third party contracts to ensure the correct standard of service is provided in accordance with the agreed contract

What we are looking for:

• Technical background (ideally electrical)
• Minimum 4+ years experience within facilities management/maintenance
• Ability to undertake all aspects of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract.
• Completion of IOSH Managing Safely or a similar qualification.
• Customer care and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in conducting surveys throughout client sites and preparing accurate reports.
• Ability to interact directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company.
• Positive, self-motivated, proactive individual.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The capacity to operate effectively under pressure, in front of the end client, and in rapidly changing environments and circumstances.
• The candidate must be confident in training others, communicating in high-pressure situations with management and clients, and enforcing safety rules.

Job:
As a Health and Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all health and safety protocols are met across our diverse range of projects. You will be responsible for creating and reviewing health and safety documentation, conducting site visits, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. This role will require strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring safety on-site.

Responsibilities:
Health & Safety Management:
o Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures across all projects.
o Ensure compliance with legal and industry standards (CDM 2015, HSE regulations, etc.).
o Identify and mitigate risks across various construction sites.

Documentation & Reporting:
o Write, review, and update risk assessments, method statements, and
safety reports.
o Check and approve health and safety reports submitted by site teams
or subcontractors.
o Compile incident reports and ensure timely communication of health
and safety updates to the management team.

Site Visits & Inspections:
o Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess health and safety
compliance.
o Provide hands-on guidance to site staff on best health and safety
practices.
o Ensure all contractors adhere to health and safety regulations.

Training & Compliance:
o Deliver health and safety training to site personnel as needed.

o Ensure that all staff and subcontractors are informed of and comply
with company safety standards.
o Conduct safety audits and propose corrective actions where necessary.

Requirements:
 NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications (or equivalent) are essential.
 Previous experience in a Health and Safety management role, preferablywithin the construction or D&B sector.
 Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and constructionregulations.
 Strong report-writing skills with attention to detail.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with site teams, contractors, and management.
 Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel to various sites across London.
