Enjoy working within a crew?
We have an upcoming opportunity to work with one of the UK’s largest waste management operations.
Based in the Sheffield area, you will be working in small crews, taking responsibility for your own route.
It will be your duty to ensure that you are vigilant and being mindful of your surroundings when controlling the vehicle.
You will also be required to check the on-board computer, monitoring the load so it does not exceed the weight limit.
In some circumstances you may be required to assist the loading team at the rear of the vehicle.
To apply for this role you must-
- Have a valid UK driving licence with C entitlement.
- Have a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Have a valid CPC.
- At least 12 months Class 2 driving experience.
- No more than 6 points on licence
- No DD or DR driving convictions
work as part of a busy team and be a good representative for the company.
This is an ongoing position offering regular full time hours.
Monday to Friday work, with shifts starting at 06:30. Approximately 8 to 10 hours each shift
The pay rate for this role is £14.55, with time and a half paid after 8 hours per day. Any work on weekends or bank holiday is paid at double time.
You will also accrue holidays, up to 28 per year pro rata.
