You could have previous experience as a Sales Assistant, Retail Assistant or in a Customer Care environment. We will give you full training and support to ensure you succeed in your role, but the right attitude and behaviours are a must. Our stores are like family, offering a nurturing environment to learn, grow, and thrive in, whilst having fun at work!

We have a part time Temporary Customer Advisor-Weekend opportunity to join our Beghins store team at Le Pollet, St Peter Port, Guernsey on a 4 hours per week temporary contract. Beghins is part of the Pavers and Jones Bootmaker family business.

You'll need full weekend availability for this role. There will be opportunities to work overtime during the week if your availability allows.

Pay, Hours & Benefits for our Customer Advisor

£12.15 per hour

Once you complete the required retail induction PaSS stages your pay will increase to £12.35 per hour

Day to Day responsibilities as our Customer Advisor


Deliver exceptional customer service
Advise customers on shoe care and accessories to compliment their needs, achieving daily KPI’s in the process
Be self-aware, being able to question, learn, and take responsibility for yourself
Be a team player, maintaining a friendly, engaging, and positive attitude
Maintaining general store standards & cleanliness
Support the maintenance of product placements and stockroom

We are looking for a new Assistant Manager to join our team at Beghins, Le Pollet, Guernsey. This position is offered as a permanent full time, 37.5 hours over 5 days per week contract.

Day to Day responsibilities as our Assistant Manager


Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure that company targets, KPI’s, goals and standards are achieved. You will assist in the prioritisation and organisation of store activity to maximise sales
Working alongside the Store Manager to lead your team in creating a customer first culture, giving genuine, honest, and knowledgeable advice on our products, giving the best customer service and experience possible
Motivate and develop yourself and your team to achieve and exceed KPI’s and reach your full potential
Be self-aware, being able to question, learn, and take responsibility for yourself and the performance of your store alongside the Store Manager
