Job Description

• Responsible for the financial operations within the ASEAN & Oceania Region.
• Lead and direct the development and execution of the Region’s financial strategy and plans in alignment with the Organization’s objectives and regional business goals.
• Oversee the financial & accounting systems, controls, standards, and related matters, ensuring compliance with the relevant financial regulations and corporate standards.
• Provide strategic and actionable insights and work closely with the Regional CEO and other key executives to drive business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency, while maintaining strong financial discipline across all business operations in the Region.
• In charge of Corporate Strategy, including the Legal & Compliance function to safeguard the Organization's legal standing and reputation while driving compliance and risk management across the business, as well as the Corporate Governance function to ensure the Organization operates with transparency, accountability, and integrity, and maintaining robust governance structures, within the ASEAN & Oceania Region.

Job Requirements

• At least 15-20 years of experience in finance, with a significant portion in senior leadership roles, including experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or similar.
• Proven experience in managing financial operations/processes across a large, geographically diverse region, and in driving organizational improvements.
• Experience working in a Multinational Organization, with a deep understanding of regional financial, regulatory, and tax requirements.
• Strong Leadership skills and Strategic & Business Acumen.
• Strong technical financial and analytical expertise, as well as excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across all levels of the Organization.
• Proficient in Japanese Language to liaise with Japanese Management and Japan Head Office.

• Provide prompt engineering support to sales team in Singapore and other regions in APAC and the surrounding areas on products and solutions to meet customers’ specific needs.
• Engineering support includes the product selection and proposal to customers with product life calculation if needed; Respond to various questions from customers; Failure cause analysis and write the report in cooperation with the investigation organization if needed.
• Make and execute engineering strategy.

Manage project activities following the strategies by ASEAN & Oceania Business Unit.

• Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of bearings, ball screws and linear guides will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases
• Tracks product line sales and costs by analyzing companies in the Asean & Oceania region
• Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts of companies in the Asean & Oceania region
• Supports management by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information
• Supports management by organizing regional meetings, and preparing regional reports
• Liaises with global manufacturing plants for the supply of goods
