We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Furniture Sales Representative to join our team. As a Furniture Sales Representative, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right furniture for their needs, educating them on product features, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. Your goal will be to drive sales, foster long-term relationships with clients, and contribute to the growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate furniture products based on their preferences, style, and budget.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of furniture products, including materials, features, benefits, and care instructions, to effectively present and explain options to customers.
- Sales Presentations: Demonstrate furniture pieces in a compelling way, showcasing product features and benefits. Create engaging sales presentations tailored to individual customer needs.
- Achieving Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets, ensuring consistent sales performance. Maximize sales opportunities by upselling complementary products such as accessories, rugs, and lighting.
- Customer Service: Ensure a positive customer experience by answering questions, resolving concerns, and providing information on delivery, warranties, and return policies.
- Follow-Up: Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Build lasting relationships to generate referrals and repeat sales.
- Order Processing: Assist customers in placing orders, processing transactions, and tracking delivery schedules. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Store Maintenance: Help maintain a visually appealing and organized showroom, ensuring furniture displays are well-arranged and product information is clearly displayed.
- Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, new product launches, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in furniture sales, retail sales, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Experience in interior design or home furnishings is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with customers and close sales.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable with point-of-sale (POS) systems, order management software, and general computer proficiency.
- Attributes: Positive attitude, goal-driven, and a passion for home furnishings and design. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and assist customers in lifting or arranging furniture when necessary.
