- You will serve as a Travel Officer in the Comptroller Department at Commander, Naval Special Warfare Center (COMNAVSPECWARCEN).
- You will supervise the performance of subordinate staff and the accomplishment of a wide range of financial, administrative, and analytical duties and tasks in support of the Command Travel and Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Programs.
- You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Travel policy and processing functions including Defense Travel System (DTS) conference attendance requirements.
- You will be responsible for developing financial/travel policy for COMNAVSPECWARCEN and subordinate commands.
- You will also serve as the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Travel Program Manager responsible for conducting detailed travel-related risk assessments. You will provide oversight and coordination of inspections to support audit readiness.
- You will perform budgetary and financial management functions to support fiscal compliance. You will develop spend plans and monitor funds execution targets.
- You will perform oversight of travel processing to ensure proper and timely financial postings in the official accounting system.
- You will independently resolve critical problems, plan, develop and manage travel programs and requirements that are continuously evolving and changing in priority and scope.
