Executive, Finance Operation, NTU Shared Service – Finance

This position is responsible for providing transactional and administrative support to ensure accurate, effective and efficient operations of Non-Supplier Invoice/Payment Processing. The Executive will carry out accounting tasks that are related to the actual efficient maintenance and processing of the university’s accounts payable and reimbursement transactions. • Develop team members to groom them for more complex/senior roles in the team.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge Articles are up-to-date and properly documented.
• Monitor and manage KPIs and SLAs to ensure they are achieved with the highest level of customer service.
• Identify automation and process streamlining opportunities and collaborate with relevant teams on system implementation, enhancement, and user acceptance testing.
• Participate in ad hoc projects based on business requirements.

Relationship Management/Customer Relations

• Cooperate and build positive relationships with peers and supervisors to ensure process efficiency and consistency.
• Communicates with customers and other employees to resolve queries/address requests and concerns.

Requirements

• Degree with at least 6-8 years of related working experience, preferably in an educational institute.
• Experience in ERP financial system (e.g., SAP Hana is preferred).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.  
• Detailed oriented, meticulous with positive attitude.
• Resourceful, self-driven, proactive, problem solver, ability to work independently.
• Good organisational and planning skills.
• A team player who works well with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
