DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To support the band 7 dietitian in a clinical area, and be responsible for own caseload. To plan, organise and prioritise patient related and professional demands. To write, deliver and evaluate internal and external education and training sessions on nutrition and specialist dietetics in relation to oncology to medical staff, nursing staff, AHPs, dietitians, other health care professionals, patients and carers. To act as a clinical educator by participating in the ABC model of student dietetic placements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Liaise with all consultants in your area of responsibility to provide a full secretarial service, including all administrative duties and dealing with mail, which includes placing it in order of priority and acting on matters which can be dealt with without further reference. Deal with stressful phone calls which can be emotional / abusive and of a sensitive nature from relatives/patients. Setting Direction To further establish and maintain the information and performance management systems for Anaesthetics & Theatres supporting the respective Service Managers in the delivery of key objectives and targets. Service Delivery To be responsible for all administration services provided within their area of responsibility. To further develop appropriate systems, policies, procedures and management arrangements for delivering effective waiting list management. Have an understanding of the 62 day and patient access targets for the purpose of performance, including The Christie Clinic. Review and analyse theatre data to track patients and take proactive action in order to support patient access targets. To develop and implement measures to ensure that services are cost effective and undertake regular benchmarking and auditing of processes. To ensure full compliance with all Trust Governance Standards including the assessment and management of identified risks. To monitor theatre activity and complete audits as required. Ensure the production of all monitoring and performance reports relating to anaesthetics and theatres. Support in completion of financial paperwork such as locum shifts and study leave requests. Support in the delivery of anaesthetic and speciality doctor rotas ensuring there is appropriate and safe clinical cover for all sessions. Ensure completion of CCU prioritisation / CCU bed updates. Monitoring of Theatres shared mailbox ensuring emails are dealt with in a timely manner. Action taking at weekly 6-4-1 and scheduling meetings and ensuring these actions are completed in the agreed timeframe. Responsible for creating users and personnel on Theatreman system and updating Theatre templates when necessary. Development and Innovation To take a lead role in identifying and implementing new and innovative ways to improve the patients journey through to treatment within Theatres. To liaise closely with the independent sector colleagues to ensure that patient lists are supplied and received in a timely manner and maintain effective communication channels To liaise with ward managers regarding the level of planned admissions so duty roster can be planned in accordance with activity and expected date of discharge information. To work along with senior theatre team to support service delivery. Quality To work within the requirements of the Trusts integrated governance framework, ensuring that all policies relating to delivery of administrative services meet relevant legislative and policy requirements for the Theatre Service Financial and Resource Management To support the Service Managers with the management of budgets and to ensure all financial targets are met. To work within budgetary constraints and to provide advice on the costs and benefits of planned developments within theatre scheduling. As a Pharmacy Stores Assistant your main duties and responsibilities will include the following: 1) To ensure the safe unloading and storage of goods in accordance with local and national guidelines. 2) To ensure goods are correctly recorded and distributed within agreed timescales. 3) To ensure delivery notes are checked and any stock discrepancies are rectified. 4) Receiving, receipt and distribution of pharmacy deliveries from approved suppliers whilst achieving the agreed level of quality required by the Trust. 5) Assist in the process of invoice payment through electronic systems. 6) Communicate with suppliers to resolve any stock issues. 7) Assist with distribution of goods to the Trust under our wholesale license. 8) To work effectively within a team. 9) To undertake other roles within the department as requested by the pharmacy management team. Supporting activities around the patient flow. 10) To undertake personal development as identified through performance and appraisal reviews. 11) Pharmacy stock date and temperature checking 12) Preparing stock orders for various wards, departments, and outreach sites. 13) Understanding and following COSHH procedures when handling potentially hazardous stock such as cytotoxic medicines. 14) Assisting in the management and maintenance of pharmacy stock levels. 15) Demonstrates the agreed set of values and accountable for own attitude and behaviour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provide a supportive role within the SACT outreach sites for nursing, medical and clerical Staff whilst providing cover between the Chemotherapy Services Units. This will include all other SACT outreach sites. 2. Undertake the nursing care of patients, ensuring privacy & dignity is maintained whilst being aware of physical and psychological needs 3. To give a clear and accurate update at change of duties and ensure accurate documentation of nursing interventions 4. Participate in nursing procedures appropriate to the department 5. Support and assist in the induction/training of junior staff/Health Care Assistants acting as mentor to designated staff 6. To welcome patients to the site/unit and its routine 7. Be able to act as co-ordinator and ensure the safe and timely management of patients 8. To liaise with medical and non medical personnel and community organisations 9. Rotate / work on ORTC SACT unit if required 10. To highlight areas of improvement/development within the department and undertake relevant projects 11. To act as support for other nurses on site 12. Assist in the provision of meals / refreshments for patients whilst meeting their nutritional needs 13. Assist in the general housekeeping duties of all areas. 14. Help to maintain a safe environment and report faults/risks etc to the nurse in charge 15.
