What you'll be doing: As Head of Therapies, you will report to the Service Manager and be responsible for the strategic and professional direction of Therapy Services. This involves delivery of all operational performance targets, ensuring all services are provided within the agreed level of activity, standards of performance, safety, quality, and budget You will be ultimately accountable for all Allied Health Professional Therapists, and Therapy Support Staff, and will directly manage the Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language teams Work closely with and report directly to the Service Manager You will have an active clinical caseload Be an innovator, an educator, and a mentor, providing robust representation for therapy services within the Senior Management Team Carry out audit, policy, and service development and research activities and/or programmes. The post holder will also propose and implement policy and service development changes Be responsible for developing and implementing standards across Therapy Services, which support professional leadership, competence, capacity and standards of conduct Collaborating with senior management to define and implement new ways of working to maximise benefits, ensuring gains in both cost-effectiveness and clinical efficiency Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights What you'll have: HCPC Registration Be an experienced Therapist Significant experience in a neurological rehabilitation setting Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive high-performance team Passion for patient success and evidence-based practice Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
