Key Responsibilities and Duties: First point of contact for PCN Practice Managers regarding delivery of PCN projects/schemes. Lead on IT projects. Create dashboards for relevant PCN data to be delivered in stakeholder meetings. Support the induction of new PCN staff. Management and administrative support of monthly meetings. Work alongside practices to understand current challenges to effective service delivery and identify solutions, including existing best practice within the PCN. Recording and management of holiday and sickness of PCN staff. The post holder will also develop relationships with local delivery partners (such as IT service providers and other NHS organisations) to support effective delivery of transformation. The PCN Digital and Transformation Manager will form an integral part of the PCN leadership working alongside the Clinical Director and PCN member practice colleagues. The post holder will act as the main point of contact of expertise, coordinate the successful achievement of all PCN contractual requirements, support the translation of national local policies into meaningful actions, and support collaborative working to achieve improved outcomes for the local population. Analyse service specification, performance indicators and data collection requirements to inform design for new PCN services. You should have strong leadership skills to motivate project managers and a good understanding of NHS processes and challenges. Familiarity with digital platforms and tools in healthcare is important, as is experience managing projects across different teams. Financial skills, including budget management and ROI analysis, are essential, along with the ability to review and develop business cases. Job purpose: The Head of Clinical Services provides clinical strategic direction, ensuring the hospital provides excellent patient care delivered in a safe high quality clinical environment in a cost-effective manner. Responsible for providing clinical direction and strong, professional leadership to all clinical staff including nursing, allied health professionals and medical staff either directly employed or working under practising privileges. Support to the clinical leads and their respective departments and being ultimately accountable for the performance of all clinical services. Provide clinical leadership and guidance by ensuring knowledge of clinical and professional developments in accordance with the NMC revalidation process and the HCPC/GPC standards of continuing professional development requirements. As part of the Senior Managment team, the role works with other senior managers to create and deliver the strategic, operational, and a dynamic business development plan for the hospital. Ensuring incidents and complaints are recorded in accordance with Kinvara policy and processes. Investigating and referring all adverse incidents appropriatley and maintaining accurate and factual reports. Ensuring all clinical polices are upto date and reflective of the business. Achievement of audits schelduled and action plans completion. Monitor and manage the Hospital Risk Register. Participation in hospital cover / manager on-call rotas including week nights and weekend shifts where applicable.
