This is a permanent position, offering £13.23ph, working a continental shift pattern: 4 days on 4 days off, 6am-6pm/6pm-6am.

You will assist the lead printer in the general operation of the printing press and provide a positive contribution towards meeting required productivity targets and quality standards. The assistant is also responsible for preparing the press for a job change; ensuring all equipment and materials are ready and available.

Duties will include:

• Unpacking pallets & preparing reels of raw material for press; loading raw materials onto the press unwind unit.
• Assisting the printer to load and unload plate cylinders and anilox rollers to and from the press.
• Maintaining sufficient ink supply at press; monitoring reservoirs throughout production and refilling as required.
• Ensuring spare anilox rollers are clean, fitted with gears and ready for the press.
• Unloading printed work in progress reels from the rewind unit; weighing, strapping / wrapping and labelling work in progress reels ready to be placed into stock.
• Using solvent based cleaning agents to clean various press components.
• Handling of delicate printing plates - stripping plates from cylinders; cleaning & preparing for storage; checking plates for damage or deterioration; reporting any issues to the lead printer.

About the role

You would perform a variety of administrative functions such as scanning of multi medica data source, utilising scanners and the MS officer tools. You would create indexing of data and loading into our clients Product data management system. Requires a high school diploma with related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Exciting Opportunity for a Reporting assistant

The Reporting Assistant will be a member of the Quality Team in the Integration Branch within the Joint Design Office (JDO) supporting & introducing granular reporting solution for the JDO & associated team. In addition, this individual will manipulate this information so Operational & Project KPI reporting are supported. The key task will be to maintain an accurate dashboard in addition to managing JDO day-to-day Change Object tracking and supporting the JDO configuration team's reporting from the new HPC Plant Life Management Tool.

Responsibilities:

• Extract and publish daily JDO KPI reporting dashboard
• Support JDO Change Object work management - specifically an interface to support the JDO Operational Teams
• Support JDO in maintaining configuration through manual data extracts
• Support issue resolution for JDO users
• Support JDO Technical Assistant in reporting development
• Any additional tasking as by JDO Quality Manager to support the JDO and wider HPC Project

Requirements

Essential

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high-level attention to detail
• Experienced in producing & managing graphs from data
• Experienced in issue resolution related to KPIs and dashboards
• Ability to work and act autonomously with a "can do" problem solving ability
• Ability to resolve issues of low complexity/risk in own technical discipline/area

• Proficient in Power BI

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

Desirable

Driver and Sales Assistant, Barking

The Role

Their decorator centre in Barking is looking for a new Driver and Sales Assistant, providing excellent, friendly service to professional decorators, contractors and DIY enthusiasts, you'll use your knowledge of the local area to carry out deliveries to homes and businesses. You'll build relationships with customers and from time to time you'll also be asked to help support the team in store, serving customers, merchandising displays and giving expert advice on products.
