Lindner Facades Asia Pte Ltd (LFA) was successfully re-launched in May 2019, as part of the Lindner Steel & Glass operation. Located in Singapore, LFA will be used as a base to promote and secure projects for LFA and Lindner Group in the vast and promising Asian market.
Our projects will cover the Asian markets, which include India, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. Enquires have also been received from Cambodia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
LFA offers pre-sales consultation and planning advice, design and engineering, project management and planning, fabrication and installation. Employing a team of highly skilled, well-trained and extensive experience when it comes to LFA’S unique selling point in delivering turnkey projects with complex steel and glass, facades, skylights, curtain wall and building envelopes.
Job Responsibilities
· Responsible for all BIM modelling works.
· Organize and plan a design works to meet construction schedule.
· Provide leadership and manage the team members in a professional manner, e.g., allocation of work, providing guidelines to them in drafting to maintain the quality, improving productivity, checking drawings and cutting list profiles etc.
· Ensure design, drawings, and all other deliverables meet the standard requirements, specifications and within scope of works.
· Identify additional work/variations to the Project Manager / Contract Manager for processing/approval of the variation order.
· To coordination between Design Team, Consultants, Main Contractor and other contractors.
· Assist site team in resolution of site clashes.
· Participate in workshops and lead, review and comment of shop drawings in terms of constructability, sequencing and ensure quality of the design is maintained throughout.
· Manage the design change process to ensure minimal impact to project schedule and minimize cost impacts as a result of such design change.
· To resolve any unforeseen interface problems throughout the various design phases.
Job Requirements:
· Required skills: design development, design management.
· Knowledge and skills in Revit and Rhino
· Good knowledge and skills in BIM modelling.
· Possess good communications and people skills
· Good organization, coordination and leadership skills
· Minimum 5 years working experience in façade design.
