As an AI/ML Intern at the KMS Innovation Center, you will have the unique opportunity to work on the forefront of AI and emerging technologies. You will contribute to the development and evaluation of AI-driven tools and solutions, enhancing our software development lifecycle and meeting the dynamic needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

As an AI/ML Engineer Intern, you will:

• Explore and evaluate the latest advancements in AI models and emerging technologies.

• Collaborate on building proofs of concept for AI applications and solutions.

• Work closely with technical leaders and skilled developers, adhering to high-standard development practices.

• Contribute to innovative solutions tailored to the needs of our customers and the broader industry.

• Engage in continuous learning activities to stay current with industry trends and advancements in AI/ML.

• Understand client domain knowledge, requirements, system/tools and the product.
• Work closely with client/ team and participant in all team activities/events
• Perform all testing activities independently and effectively: test estimation, test planning, test strategy, test cases design, test execution, defects tracking….
• Understand automation framework and add automation test cases for the new features and regression test cases.
• Collect data and report testing status
• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness

• Fix bugs/ develop features to satisfy customers' needs, based on defined requirements and designs.
• Ensure code quality and development practices are followed in a project team.
• Read log files and write automation test scripts to investigate issues
• Follow given procedures and instructions to produce well-designed, testable and clean code.
• Write samples and documents to guide end-users.
• Be able to switch to cross languages for full stack tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Execute all testing activities to improve product quality, work closely with the team (developers, business analysis, customer service, operation, etc.) to deliver the product success
• Address the test automation needs in a methodical, detail-oriented manner with the help of robust analytical skills and problem-solving capacity
• Automate functional, regression and/or performance acceptance tests
• Have complete responsibility to enhance end-to-end automated test coverage
• Participate in sprint planning and work closely with the Scrum team to analyze requirements and provide necessary test recommendations

• Execute all testing activities to improve product quality, work closely with the team (developers, business analysis, customer service, operation, etc.) to deliver the product success

• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and assist in implementing mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves quickly and frequently breaks things.
• Participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standups as well as two-week sprints.
• Utilize new, contemporary, smooth animations and transitions to provide a great user experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

External Communication 

• Assist in developing relationships between the company and external parties, including but not limited to universities, government, industry associations, journalists, etc.
• Involve in a full cycle of external events organizing, including pre-event planning, execution, and post-event evaluation.
• Compose PR/branded content, including but not limited to newsletters, press releases, PR articles, social posts, emails, etc.

Corporate Social Responsibilities - KMS Gives 

• Compose KMS Gives-related communication content, including but not limited to emails, social posts, etc.
• Monitor and manage KMS Gives Landing Page, KMS Gives Facebook 
• Design basic communication materials/ coordinate with the Design team to produce communication materials
• Coordinate with Starters and external partners (NGOs, NPOs, vendors) to initiate, plan and implement community projects

Others

• Assist the Corporate Communications department’s event planning/organizing 
• Other ad-hoc tasks as and when required
