Responsibilities:
· Business Analysis: Work closely with the trading desk, product teams, and technical SMEs to gather and analyze business requirements, propose solutions, and provide effort and cost estimations for project delivery.
· Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including managing project plans, leading meetings, tracking deliverables, identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring governance.
· Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to prioritize tasks, manage conflicts, and ensure alignment on project goals and solutions.
· Governance & Reporting: Track and report on audit remediation items and maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability.
· Documentation: Create business requirements documents, presentations, and regular updates using PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio, keeping senior stakeholders informed on progress.
· Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with APAC regulatory projects and Exchange Implementation is a plus.
· Cross-functional Collaboration:Work with developers, technical leads, and LOB partners to deliver results, adjusting communication styles and level of detail depending on the audience.
Skills and Experience
· 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst and Project Manager in Global Markets (Equities/Fixed Income Trading/Post Trade).
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions and detailed business requirement documents.
· Good understanding of trading flows, business, and product knowledge across Pre-Trade, Cash Trading, and Post-Trade.
· Proven experience leading meetings, managing project plans, and tracking deliverables while managing risk.
· Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
· Familiarity with regulatory projects, particularly in the APAC region, is highly desirable.
· Proficiency in project management tools: Agile, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office toolsets.
· Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, take ownership, and follow through on tasks proactively.
