ROLE OVERVIEW
The Digital Director oversees the Partnerships digital strategy and go to market approach and ensures the successful activation of clients’ investments.
This position requires a strong leader with proven experience managing teams, juggling multiple high level projects at one time, researching and justifying digital partner selection and developing and negotiating multi-faceted media and marketing partnerships. As the digital lead for your clients, you drive collaboration, excellence and quality of product across all digital channels to deliver the most strategic, holistic and integrated investment solutions.
Directors must think strategically and work collaboratively with other Partnerships disciplines and with client team leaders in Client Advice & Management, Strategy, Connections Design and SBUs to create implementation recommendations that deliver on client strategic goals and business objectives. You maintain excellent relationships with each of the SBUs, proactively collaborating to drive innovation and uptake of each service across your client portfolio.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client
Collaborates with Strategy, Connections Design and Client Advice & Management teams to ensure alignment with and delivery against client KPIs
Leads digital negotiation strategy on major client negotiations and activations in conjunction with the CPMO in order to deliver improved product and outcomes YOY
Communicates with clients for digital marketplace intelligence, implementation planning, negotiation and partnership needs and takes ultimate accountability for team’s day-to-day responsibilities
Participates in digital partnership recommendation and implementation, incorporating necessary and appropriate rationale and research for client buy-in
Brings forward new ideas and opportunities to move your client’s business forward
Serves as a digital marketplace landscape expert internally and with clients
Internal
Promotes an open working environment where opinions, views and ideas can be shared
Oversees the development of digital go to market strategy, implementation recommendations and POVs
Guides and provides digital leadership for the execution of media negotiations managed by the team
Develops and implements best practices, processes and templates for the Investment Partnership teams in conjunction with the Investment Partnership leadership team
Participates in digital partner selection recommendations and justification designed to deliver on client KPI’s using data, analytics and multi-faceted, strategic partnerships, while delivering maximum strategic value and efficiency
New Business
Participates in new business development and presentations
Prepares RFP responses
Develops costs for pricing exercises
QUALITICATIONS
Tenure guideline – 10+ years of agency experience in digital planning and buying;
Excellent understanding of media across all disciplines (online and offline) and how to apply to deliver optimal client solutions
Exceptional media relationships at Sales Director levels that delivers a competitive advantage to our clients
Thorough understanding of implementation and investment systems, processes, and goals and how to drive through the business
Detailed awareness of client business issues, industry trends, consumer trends, promotional resources, market status and competition
Salary range between $90,000 & $100,000 including superannuation.
