We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Leasing Officer to manage all tenancy-related matters and support our property leasing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing and securing quality tenants, handling negotiations, and ensuring smooth tenancy management while maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all tenancy-related matters, including sourcing, securing, and managing tenants.
- Review and negotiate tenancy terms and agreements to ensure compliance and alignment with company objectives.
- Prepare, coordinate, and manage tenancy documents and agreements.
- Address tenants' inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Manage premises takeover and handover processes, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Collaborate with internal teams on fit-out designs, payments, and other operational requirements.
- Stay updated on market trends, demand, and industry changes, providing insights and recommendations.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and compile relevant reports for management.
- Maintain strong relationships with current tenants and expand the network of potential clients.
- Support Finance Department by ensuring timely rental payments and suggesting effective methods to minimize trade debt.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in leasing / marketing of shopping malls
- Good problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of rental laws will be an added advantage
