The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART), to perform pilot and pilot in command duties in assigned aircraft. Position also accomplishes a variety of administrative duties related to flight and mission accomplishment such as scheduling, squadron operations management, combat mission planning, and training. Provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Duties and Responsibilities:

7. Pilot's aircraft and commands crew, operates aircraft controls and equipment.
8. Performs or directs navigation, in-flight refueling and weapons delivery.
9. Ensures operational readiness of crew by conducting mission specific training.
10. Develops plans and policies, monitors operations, and advises commanders.
11. Assists commanders and performs staff functions related to their aircraft specialty.
12. Interviews pilots assigned or attached to determine backgrounds and training in various types of aircraft, especially in the type of aircraft assigned to the unit.
13. Schedules pilots as to type, phase and degree of flying training required and scheduling individual pilots for extra flying hours when determined necessary.
14. Conducts a continuous and aggressive flying safety program and maintains a complete file on flying safety matters for the education of all assigned aircrew.

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) involved in the removing, installing, troubleshooting, interrogating, overhauling, adjusting, testing, modifying, calibrating, and repairing of complex integrated aircraft pneudraulic systems and equipment on board conventional/nuclear certified aircraft supported by the organization and to provide
training to and evaluation of all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors and foreign military as required in the accomplishment of duties set forth herein.

DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Conducts scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and periodic inspections on all pneudraulically operated systems on/off aircraft in accordance with established procedures.
Duty 2 - Performs troubleshooting of complex integrated pneudraulic systems of related on/off equipment for assigned and/or transient aircraft to include support equipment.
Duty 3 - Performs off-equipment maintenance and bench checks to support the repair cycle.
Duty 4 - Utilizes safety practices and tool control procedures to maintain a safe and clean work area.
Duty 5 - Prepares/executes effective training plans to maximize training for all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors and foreign military.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Senior Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer with overall supervision and management of either an Aircraft Maintenance Squadron , a Maintenance Squadron , an Equipment Maintenance Squadron or a Component Maintenance Squadron at an Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) unit-equipped or associate unit.

RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the squadron. Manages assigned maintenance resources and ensures production meets operational requirements and technical standards. Recommends procedural and technical improvements and modifications.

The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to assist in the technical development and maintenance of the wing's readiness/deployment program and to train reservists in the tasks of this position.

Duties:
1: Provides direction, development and maintenance of the wing's deployment program.

2: Plans for and evaluates logistics readiness. Assists in maintaining the wing's War Readiness Materiel (WRM) program.

3: Assists with and monitors a variety of unit readiness assessment activities such as operational readiness inspections (ORI), operational readiness exercises (ORE), and other command and local exercises.

4: Presents briefings and participates in meetings or serves on panels and committees.

5: As a team member, evaluates assigned categories of support services for inter- and intra-service support agreements, submitting final report through management to the Joint Interservice Regional Support Group (JIRSG) chairperson.

Loads and unloads, positions, arms, and safes all assigned air munitions on assigned aircraft. Certifies work produced under the USAF Technical Order Program.

4: Performs pretest, operational, functional, and final testing of integrated weapons systems electronic components, AME and their subassemblies. Plans and conducts training of reservists and other employees. Controls Tools. Cleans work area and equipment.

5: Accomplishes configuration changes of integrated weapons control, launch, release, and suspension assemblies to accommodate assigned aircraft mission requirements. Utilizes safety practices and procedures. Completes work control documents in accordance with established procedures.

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) performing such duties as removing, installing, adjusting, aligning, inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing final functional and operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components such as airframe, landing gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic, and flight control systems and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Duties:
1: Performs inspection and troubleshooting on a variety of aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders/commercial manuals (C40 only) and specifications.

2: Positions, maintains, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders and specifications.

3: Accomplishes aircraft maintenance and equipment record keeping, both manual and automated, associated with aircraft maintenance and repair.

4: Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations, and maintains a safe and clean work area.

5: Verifies and certifies work processes and procedures and adequacy of work accomplished by certified co-workers and trainees.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to test, troubleshoot, repair and modify aircraft fuel distribution systems, repair leaks of external/integrated tanks, and provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth therein.

Duties:
1: Receives work document(s) or oral instructions regarding problem with aircraft fuel system. Accomplishes modifications and prepares components for storage or shipment.

2: Troubleshoots integral fuel tanks, using leak path analysis and other test procedures such as pressure checks, vacuum checks, dye injection checks, helium and argon gas checks, etc., to determine the source of fuel leaks.

3: Troubleshoots fuel cells to determine location of leaks. Prepares effective training plans to maximize Reserve training.

4: In performing duties uses a variety of common hand tools, combustible and toxic gas indicators, torque wrenches, leak detectors, pressure gauges, manometers, powered tools such as drills and pneumatic wrenches; also, operates AGE such as blowers, filters, vacuum cleaners, heaters, air
conditioners, fire extinguishers, etc.

5: Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area.

The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician (ART), accomplishes a variety of duties involving assisting in determining unit's readiness and capability to perform its peacetime/wartime mission, to support programs and systems which ensure reserve members are properly trained and equipped, to provide peacetime/wartime medical support, and to provide training to reserve members in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Enlisted, to serve as a weapons expediter on each shift for all weapons maintenance activities which includes but not limited to monitoring schedule changes and directing work priorities.

Duteis:

1. Manages all munitions loading and armament systems maintenance operations to include monitoring the safety of flightline and back shop operations.
2. Performs work direction responsibilities.

DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Performs troubleshooting of complex integrated electrical/environmental systems of related on/off equipment for assigned and/or transient aircraft to include support equipment.
Duty 2 - Installs, inspects, modifies, repairs, services, replaces, adjusts and overhauls complex integrated electrical/ environmental systems, both on and off equipment, to include, but not limited to: oxygen, fire suppression, air conditioning, pressurization, ice/rain protection, bleed air systems, avionics cooling systems, cargo/mission handling, missile interface units/bomb doors, anti-skid systems, landing gear, ignition, stall warning, flight control, AC/DC power supply and distribution, Integrated Drive Generator, fuel and explosive systems.
Duty 3 - Performs final functional and operational tests of complex integrated electrical/ environmental systems, both on and off equipment.
Duty 4 - Prepares/executes effective training plans to maximize training for all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors and foreign military.
Duty 5 - Utilizes safety practices and tool control procedures following established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work area.

• Serve as the focal point for squadron/wing logistics readiness support for contingencies, peacetime and deployment requirements.
• Provides technical advice and assistance to wing leadership on business processes and performance and efficiency of logistics readiness functions of the squadron/wing.
• As the squadron senior technical advisor on logistics readiness and AEF issues, performs/leads studies, and provides technical advice and assistance on development and implementation of readiness mission capabilities.
• Represents the wing regarding logistics readiness issues at meetings within the organization and at conferences with MAJCOM, HQ USAF, DoD, and other agencies. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as a Financial Management Specialist with responsibility of monitoring all operations in the accounting and finance office, providing technical assistance and guidance to management officials and technicians engaged in the different financial functions and maintaining, controlling, and reporting financial information for financial services provided to the base and tenant organization(s).

DUTIES:

1. As Deputy Disbursing Officer disburses and collects funds, and accounts for funds as an agent of the U.S. Treasury Department.
2. Provides customer support to external and internal customers (e.g., resource advisors, members of the serviced organizations, vendors, budget analysts).
3. Provides administrative oversight of the Quality Assurance Program. Provides technical assistance and advice to the Comptroller and staff.

The Primary Purpose of this position is: This an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer position located at an Air Force Reserve Flying Squadron. The purpose of this position is to manage the total operations function of the squadron on a daily basis.

Duties

1. Employees assigned to these positions supervise, direct and monitor operations programs for the training of a Reserve flying unit, including flight operations, unit training, intelligence, communications and tactical planning. Responsible to the Aircraft Operations Officer/Air Commander for all matters pertaining to operational readiness and effectiveness of the unit. Directs all operations and maintenance training programs for the Squadron.
Instructs or examines pilots in flying proficiency, plans flights and training missions, evaluates pilots, plans course outlines. Analyzes directives from higher headquarters and information available in form of accident reports and mission readiness reports in order to develop operational plans, standard operating procedures, and implementing instructions pertaining to General Military Training of Squadron personnel, electronic warfare, tactics training, flight operations, intelligence, and command center communications training.
2. Ensures the operational readiness and effectiveness of the unit. Ensures effective unit manning, retention, and recruitment of personnel.
Manages the Squadron's flying hour program to ensure equitable distribution among the assigned aircrews.
3. Coordinates plans and programs with appropriate staff activities such as personnel, communications, maintenance, intelligence, medical, and armament to insure adequate facilities for aircraft crews.
4. Observes and evaluates effectiveness of training programs and operation of other activities
supervised.
5. Participates in combat training missions and conduct post-mission critiques to evaluate effectiveness and proficiencies of air crews.
6. Directs briefing of combat crews on such phases of mission as formation and tactics, weather, rendezvous points, targets, and expected enemy opposition.
