Your new role

• Identify and analyze existing products and strategies in order to create innovative business approaches and opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and product design and development in the marketplace to help create innovative product ideas.
• Work with cross-functional teams such as engineering and marketing to transform creative ideas into functional, saleable products and services.
• Conceive new and improved features by working closely with customer-focused teams to understand customer needs and transform them into product initiatives.
• Develop product roadmaps and manage the whole product lifecycle: from inception and prioritizing new features to final delivery.
• Regularly conduct feasibility studies and market research on potential product releases.
• Track metrics post-launch, to ensure products are delivering against key performance indicators.
• Make strategic and data driven decisions to prioritize certain product features over others and adjust as necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Product Manager (at least 5 years related working experience), with a track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Understanding in software development knowledge, can communicate well with customers and development
• Ability to analyze data and iteratively optimize products based on data
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with effective communication and adept decision-making capabilities.
• Good project management skills with the ability to balance multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience with driving the product vision, go-to-market strategy and design discussions.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Your new role

HR Partnership

• Full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management and development
• Knowledge and advisory of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, performance management, recruitment and rewards strategies
• Delivery of key HR projects such as performance management and promotional exercises
• Analyzing and identifying issues and providing recommendations on HR solutions.

HR Policies, Processes and Systems

• Initiate improvements to internal HR processes, systems and communications towards enhancing service experience.
• Educate People Managers and employees on policy/system changes and implications, as well as understand and gather their feedback and input.

Operational Excellence and Support on Faculty Affairs

• Engage in manpower planning and projection of faculty and work with Finance Business Partners and HODs on manpower projections, budget and costings.
• Establish clear understanding of the recruitment needs and work closely with the Shared Services team and hiring managers to hire the appropriate talent on a timely basis
• Assist in planning and implementing faculty performance appraisal exercise
• Support in the conceptualization and implementation of faculty development initiatives
• Manage onboarding and off-boarding matters
• Provide support on disciplinary or grievances matters
• Drive key employee initiatives such as awards and welfare matters
• Any other duties as assigned

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant HR working experience
• Good knowledge of Employment Act and Work Pass regulations
