Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices for all Group companies and handling ad-hoc purchase ledger queries under the supervision of the Purchase Ledger Coordinator. You will maintain the suspense accounts, ensuring timely authorisation of invoices, and manage the filing of invoices and matching with purchase orders. Additionally, you will need to liaise with suppliers for account reconciliations, collate company card statements and receipts, and monitor accounts emails to ensure all messages are appropriately addressed. You will also work with business support regarding procedures for expenses and credit cards, download and check expense statements, and administer company petty cash and related documentation.

Your new role

• Assisting with the month-end between the 2 entities. This might include calculating prepayments, accruals, updating foreign deposits.
• Analysing data calculating the journal required to match the cost of sale to the sale
• Supporting the bookkeeping service by processing the monthly accounts for our 2 smallest entities
• Being proactive in accounting and bank financial audits
• Support the finance and wider teams with additional tasks as required

• Assisting with logging repairs and chasing outstanding work
• Void management, arrears management and low level ASB management

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience of providing housing/tenancy management within a similar environment, working with vulnerable people, preferably elderly
• Good basic knowledge and understanding of welfare benefits system
• Good understanding of the principles of housing & tenancy management

Your new company
Hays Recruitment are proud to be supporting a Runcorn-based secondary school as they are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated teaching assistant to support a pupil in year 8 on a 1:1 basis. This contract is full-time and required due to long-term sickness cover.

Your new role
In your new role as a teaching assistant within this school, you will be supporting a pupil in year 8 on a 1:1 basis. As this pupil has SEN and has an EHCP you will be their main point of contact throughout the school day, meeting them at the school gate and walking them back to their grown-up at the end of the school day. You will support them throughout the school day, including break and lunch times as to ensure that all activities are safe, inclusive and accessible. During lessons, you will break learning material down into a more digestible manner for them and support with their speech and language development. Due to their needs and being non-verbal, you will be required to use PECs and Makaton to communicate. You will implement a myriad of positive behaviour techniques to ensure that all learning takes part in a stimulating and inclusive environment and to effectively manage and identify their triggers. You will also be required to take them out of the class and use sensory play/therapy when they are overstimulated.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in your application, you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as a minimum of 40 days referencebale experience supporting SEN within a classroom environment in the last 2 years, as well as:

• Previous experience supporting ASD and/or non-verbal
• Experience using PECs and/or Makaton
• An NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is advantageous but not essential
