In this role, you will be responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices for all Group companies and handling ad-hoc purchase ledger queries under the supervision of the Purchase Ledger Coordinator. You will maintain the suspense accounts, ensuring timely authorisation of invoices, and manage the filing of invoices and matching with purchase orders. Additionally, you will need to liaise with suppliers for account reconciliations, collate company card statements and receipts, and monitor accounts emails to ensure all messages are appropriately addressed. You will also work with business support regarding procedures for expenses and credit cards, download and check expense statements, and administer company petty cash and related documentation.

• 2+ years of experience in functional testing, preferably in UAT.
• Solid understanding of manual testing techniques including Functional, Regression, exploratory, usability testing and defect management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience of working with a range of stakeholders including Software Developers, Project Team members, Subject Matter Experts and Executive Leadership Teams.
  
  
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Selenium, Eclipse, Maven, SQL.
• Experience of delivering an end-to-end test service.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies is desirable.
• Experience of testing UI & CMS functionality is desirable.
  
  
• Experience in Accessibility testing is desirable.
• An understanding of Data Protection and GDPR is desirable.
• The ability to work well as a member of a team.

Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor - High-end Residential projects.
Your new company

A successful residential developer working across the UK on high end developments seek an experienced senior QS to join the team. With several new projects starts imminent, almost exclusively for social housing developments. Schemes are geared towards the higher end of the market and tend to be high rise residential blocks, £6 - £60m. Due to a planned expansion within the business, there is now an additional need for a permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor to work closely with the operations director and back office teams. With newly refurbished offices in a central location, a stacked orderbook and stable team, this is an excellent long-term opportunity for any QS looking to work on the more bespoke higher end of the residential sector.

Your new role

As senior Qs, you will be responsible for all commercial decisions across multiple sites. Your duties will include helping price new schemes, authorising payments, measuring/remeasuring works on site, assessing/agreeing variations, mitigating any financial risk, agreeing final accounts and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure the right commercial decisions are being taken for the business.

You will work predominantly in the Sheffield office, 2 days a week, hybrid working, visiting your various sites once a month.

You will be heavily involved in the shaping of the role and your opinion will be actively sought on best practise and alternative processes. This is a key role within the business and one that is expected to grow into a commercial lead in the medium term.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a competent Senior QS with a stable background working within the higher end residential sector. You will have previously worked in a similar role with either a main contractor or Developer and be comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and making commercial decisions.

You will ideally have some form of surveying qualifications and be looking for a long-term career move.

You will be working in a very busy, fast-paced environment, customers and the service you provide will always be at the forefront of everything you do. 70% of this role will be to work on orders, from existing customers.
