HRGO have a great new opportunity for a trainee fabricator / production operative to join a well established manufacturing company within the Aylesford area.

We are seeking a candidate who has some previous manufacturing experience, being familiar with stock levels and continuous improvements.

Being part of the fabrication team, you will be trained in the following:-

• To fabricate standard products
• To ensure that quality standards are met at all times
• To ensure that output standards are met or exceeded
• You will ensure stock accuracy of booked products
• You will assemble and pack the product as necessary

Working in a team environment you will ensure a safe working environment is undertaken at all times, together with striving towards continuous improvements where possible. Moving stock from one area to another is also required.

This will start as an initial temporary position, but will go permanent after the successful probation period.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm, Friday 6am - 12pm.

We are supporting our Dover based client in their search for a Customs Clearance Clerk, this is a great opportunity to join a well established team.

This is a full time permanent role that is based on shift work over a 7 day period (includes days, nights and weekends)

The main purpose of the role if to maintain customs formalities and complete customs entries for customers.

Duties include:

• Data input and generating the correct documentation
• Completing customs clearance and entries for all shipments
• Dealing with queries over the phone and by email
• Build a strong rapport with both customers and colleagues

Requirements:

• Experience of customs clearance/forwarding would be preferred but it is not essential as full training will be provided
• Strong written and verbal communication is essential
• Able to work effectively alone or as part of a team
• Proficient with IT software such as MS office.
• Flexible to to shift work (This is set in advance - 4 week rota)

Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)

Hours are based on shift rota of 60 hours one week, days and nights and 24 hours the week after days and nights
