• Oversee military and civilian personnel actions and processes; monitor manpower activities/tasks and programming of future manpower requirements; and provide overall direction to team members on personnel services to support SAF/IA mission. Advise SAF/IA on military and civilian personnel policy, federal regulations, workforce planning, staffing, hiring flexibilities, training, recognition, performance evaluation, career development, employee management relations, equal employment opportunity, and military assignments and promotion systems.
• Facilitate civilian International Affairs Career Field (IACF) policy, plans, and career field education and training. Serve as a focal point for IACF initiatives and career development programs; provide functional and technical advice concerning all aspects of the IACF.
• Provide program management for Air Force International Affairs education, training, and professional development programs. Serve as Air Force lead of required training for SC and SA personnel (other than Security Cooperation Organization personnel) assigned to positions that execute or support SC and SA duties; provide SC and SA training policy and guidance; and manage training data in the Security Cooperation Workforce Database.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: to serve as a Foreign Affairs Specialist and a Branch Chief within the Central Division, leading a team of regional area experts, both military and civilian, to build, sustain and expand relationships in the Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR) on behalf of the Secretary of the Air Force.

DUTIES:

1. Responsible for recommending and implementing policy guidance for the direction, integration, management and supervision of international programs and activities affiliated with the Department of the Air Force concerning country and/or regional responsibility.
2. Areas of direct responsibility include implementation of US and USAF policy, military contacts and cooperative activities, country and regional reviews, USAF security assistance, disclosure policy and related activities, technology transfer, and other USAF international programs with foreign countries, coordination of senior AF official's international travel and visits of senior foreign officials to the United States.
3. Reviews and establishes policy on current developments in the Central Division. Identifies items that affect USAF bilateral or regional programs.
4. Represents USAF at interagency and departmental conferences and meetings. Represents SAF/IA as a member of committees and working groups.

The primary purpose of this position is to: Serve as the Senior Technical Advisor for the Concepts and Strategy Directorate, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), A5/7, Headquarters Air Force (HAF).

• Serves as Senior Technical Advisor for the Concepts and Strategy Directorate (A57S), on policy matters

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To perform duties as export license review team lead and senior action officer in the Combat Support Branch, Foreign Disclosure and Technology Transfer Division. Incumbent manages the export license review process in the Combat Support Branch and provides on-the-job training, guidance, oversight and mentoring for two civilian employees with assigned export license responsibilities. As senior action officer, employee also provides guidance and expertise to two assigned active-duty military action officers. Employee develops disclosure policies, program and procedures to guide national, DoD and Air Force decisions to release or to restrict release of classified military information (CMI) and controlled unclassified information (CUI) or equipment to foreign nations and international organizations. Disclosure guidelines specify what information should be transferred or restricted in the interest of U.S. national security. The employee authorizes disclosures of classified and controlled unclassified information in support of complex bilateral and multinational programs involving foreign military sales, direct commercial sales, foreign training, international cooperative research and development, international co-production, combined operations and exercises, exchange officers, and military intelligence sharing. Incumbent acts as senior analyst and policy expert for advanced weapons systems, technologies, capabilities, and information disclosure issues.

DUTIES:

1. As Team Lead manages and leads the work of five employees (including incumbent) in the Combat Support Branch export license review team.
2. As Team Lead develops national, DoD, and USAF disclosure policies, advisories, Air Force instructions, Delegation of Disclosure Authority Letters (DDLs), export license positions, exemptions to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), release guidelines, and disclosure guidance.
3. As Team Lead authorizes disclosure of documents, briefings, and other forms of classified and controlled unclassified information to foreign governments and international organizations.
4. As Team Lead develops and maintains broad expertise in the following areas as they pertain to Air Force disclosure initiatives
5. As Team Lead develops and guides development of disclosure oversight, education, and training guidelines and materials.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a senior publications editor utilizing strategic, tactical and operational communication procedures to develop informational materials that inform leadership and personnel of DAF policies, programs, services, and activities related to resilience and interpersonal and self-directed violence (ISDV) prevention and sexual assault response, hereinafter referred to as Integrated Resilience, at all levels within the Department of Air Force (DAF). Responsible for ensuring A1Z communications reflect the content and the spirit of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and DAF guidance.

• Performs writing-editing duties for A1Z print products, social media, briefs, and articles.
• Supports special projects and assignments, communication strategy development and execution, and develops key messages to effectively communicate AF/A1Z strategies, policies, and objectives across the department.
• Develops and coordinates Public Affairs, security, and policy review activities.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with DAF, DoD, federal entities and private sector.
