Within the UK company we have a customer base across all the main aquaculture producing regions in Scotland and Ireland, with three key locations in Scotland (Fort William, Shetland & the Western Isles). We have the ability to deliver a fast and reliable service to all our customers, with local presence and knowledge at the heart of our ethos.
As part of the long-term strategic growth of the UK company we are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our growing dynamic team. Although the posts are advertised as based in Fort William, consideration will be given to applicants out with area who meet the required criteria.
Technician (£28k - £30k per annum)
This role is based in our Fort William workshop – you will be required to repair and service equipment which is deployed by our customers in support of their operations. Such equipment includes underwater cameras, surface cameras, antennae, control cabinets and associated cabling. In time, you will be able to provide remote support to customers to diagnose faults and recommend on-site remedial actions. Whilst you will be workshop based initially, there will be the opportunity to progress and develop into a field service engineer role.
Experience of working in a workshop environment, servicing and repair of electrical/electronic devices will be of benefit. If you possess some understanding of IT networking and troubleshooting, this would also be advantageous. However, this is not essential as full training will be given.
Field Service Engineer (£35k to £40k per annum)
Are you an experienced engineer/technician within the Aquaculture industry? This role will primarily require travel to customer locations to service, maintain, install and commission our systems on customer sites. In addition to this, you will be required to repair and service ScaleAQ equipment at our workshop in Fort William.
A high level and understanding of mechanical/electrical disciplines is essential along with good IT skills.
