Primary Function

• To manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, handle accounts payable/receivable, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with regulations. They also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively managing overdue invoices through telephone, email, and written correspondence, while maintaining detailed records of all collection activities.
• Reviewing and validating credit/debit notes from suppliers or affiliates to ensure accurate compensation and charges.
• Overseeing the complete financial process, including collections, payments, month-end closing activities, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensuring that all accounting practices, systems, controls, and procedures fully comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the system, with timely reconciliations.
• Preparing and submitting accurate and timely financial reports to the Accounts Manager.
• Compiling and generating detailed reports for monthly management meetings.
• Presenting financial insights, accounting issues, and results to senior management.
• Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by the Accounts Manager or other designated personnel.

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Proficiency in accounting software, especially SQL Accounting, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with the SQL accounting system.
• Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating positive engagement with employees and management at all levels to deliver effective results.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to advise management on the resolution of financial issues.
