Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Analyze Drawings and Provide Technical Advice
Review and analyze construction drawings to determine the most suitable type of tower crane for the project. Assess factors such as crane reach, load capacities, and site constraints. Provide expert technical advice on crane selection, placement, and operational feasibility to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Tower Crane Location Confirmation
Oversee the verification and finalization of tower crane locations for projects. Ensure optimal positioning of cranes to maximize efficiency and safety on-site.
- Collaboration with Professional Engineers (PE)
Liaise with Professional Engineers to develop foundation and tie-back designs for tower cranes.
Ensure designs meet structural integrity standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage the submission process to relevant authorities for project approvals. Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Site Assessments and Layouts
Conduct on-site assessments to determine the feasibility and optimal placement of tower cranes.
Prepare detailed site layout plans, considering factors such as crane reach, load capacities, and safety zones.
- Technical Drawings and Drafting
Create and maintain precise AutoCAD drawings for tower crane placements, foundations, and related structures. Update drawings as necessary to reflect any changes or modifications in project plans.
- Project Planning and Coordination
Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules for tower crane installations.
Coordinate with clients, project managers, and on-site teams to ensure the timely delivery and setup of cranes.
- Communication and Collaboration
Liaise with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of crane operations into project workflows. Address and resolve any technical issues or changes in project scope promptly.
- Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project plans, drawings, and related documents.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports and updates to management and clients.
Handle any other ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach to additional responsibilities and changing project requirements.
Qualifications & experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Diploma of relevant field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with tower crane or related industries is advantageous.

- Variable Bonus: Average 2 months and above (Varies subject to individual's and company's performance)
