The Business Operations and Strategy team at Google plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational and organizational improvements across the company. Also known as "BizOps", the group operates like an internal consulting group working on a range of critical projects and issues. BizOps creates strategies for promoting growth of our products like YouTube, Chrome and Mobile. They handle issues around partner development, strategy work in emerging markets such as Africa and India, as well as pricing strategies across our B2B and consumer products. The BizOps team is at the forefront of Google's fast-moving strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and enabling innovation.

Google Shopping helps connect people with retailers at every moment of their shopping journey in and out of the store. With the launch of Shopping Actions, users now have an easy way to shop for products across Google Search, Assistant, and Shopping Express with a universal cart, whether they’re on mobile, desktop or even a Google Home device.

Google Shopping is a dynamic team with an emphasis on innovation and collaboration. You will collaborate with your peers and engage across tiers and markets for the benefit of all Google Shopping merchants driving business forward on topics like business impact/growth, product adoption, customer satisfaction, and team culture. In this role, your work will be assessed against shared quarterly output Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and individual expectations related to organizations business objectives. Job responsibilities
- Work with advertisers across across APAC (mainly China) to assist on their shopping campaign in EEA+CH. Help advertisers grow their EEA+CH export footprint and ROI
- Plan & Execute Shopping Campaign Reviews and client workshops or marketing events in country
- Develop and maintain strong 1:1 relationships with merchants and team members to understand their priorities and manage expectations
- Lead strategic discussions with the merchants’ key decision makers to design and implement plans for Shopping optimisation and growth
- Analyse data and trends in order to create meaningful insights for your merchants. Gather and interpret key customer feedback, issuing recommendations to the business on how to delight our merchants.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin (Chinese) to communicate with different regional customers and stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong analytical capabilities (e.g., Google Sheets) and excellent communication/presentation skills
- Ability to synthesize business insights and inform business strategy
- Influential approach to understanding and aligning stakeholder needs
- Effective collaboration with support teams to troubleshoot customer issues and provide outstanding customer service
- Client service/account management experience, ideally within e-commerce or with an omnichannel retailer
- In-depth expertise in shopping ad types
