Reporting to the Director of Sales, your job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintains and update all accounts and their bookings. Maintains an accurate and updated clients’ database.
- Ensures that clients’ profiles are recorded and updated in the Property Management System after sales calls/telemarketing.
- Establishes contracts with corporate accounts for continuous business.
- Promotes and nurtures good relationships with key accounts of the Hotel and other sources of potential business.
- Maintains and promotes the corporate image.
- Conducts sales calls with Room Sales Managers or telemarketing with at least 25 corporate accounts each week.
- Establishes the clients’ preferences and adapts/customizes group packages accordingly.
- Entertains clients or prospective clients to solicit business for the hotel.
- Conducts site inspections in the Hotel.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Follows proper reservation procedures and ensures that the relevant forms are completed timely and accurately.
- Follows up on prospect and tentative bookings to close sale or confirm the bookings.
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the management
Requirements:
· Diploma in Business Management / Hospitality Management or equivalent.
· Minimum three (3) years of sales experience in the hotel industry. Able to start within short notice
· Able to work independently and a good team player
