We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support of growth in the space of Racks and Integrated Racks data center customers. Ideal locations in Milpitas CA or Austin TX.

What a typical day looks like:

• Work diligently to understand the customer needs and requirements related to rack enclosures.
• This individual will have an opportunity to work cross functionally internal with other Flex technical teams.
• Work with Customer to define requirements
• Work with internal teams on developing customer solutions
• Qualification of design builds.
• Oversee projects as a technical architect in Mechanical engineering.

The experience we are looking to add to our team

•  Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, preferably thermal or mechanical engineering in cloud compute and AI
• 10+ years of experience working as a Mechanical Engineer
• Proficient in design via 3D CAD software
• Experience with Rack Design
• Strong organizational skills while also being able to operate in an ambiguous startup environment
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices

Job Summary

Principal Accountabilities:

• Put away, stocks and distributes materials in supermarket on manufacturing lines.
• Picks up and delivers materials to production line
• Keep workstations stocked and replenished throughout the production line.
• Able to track inventory and provide the materials needed to each Production line, allowing them to produce continuously as per the requirement.
• May move products across manufacturing facilities, either manually or using equipment such as PIT equipment.
• May monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments in order to fulfill demands for production
• Keep material aisles clean and free of trash and debris, keep material racks organized on production line neat with tags visible.
• Assist in other area when necessary or requested
• Maintain full knowledge of 5S
