This role sits within our Stadia division, catering for fans and visitors at prestigious stadiums across the UK. With matchdays, concerts, conferences, and banquets to be catered for, our specialist teams are experts in adapting to our client's needs with locally sourced seasonal menu's. At the heart of the matchday experience, we bring choice, quality, and value for money to some of the most prestigious sports venues across the UK.
What you'll be doing...
You will be responsible for the management of the Stadium retail outlets & bars, including customer service and cellar areas, within the overall policies and controls established by the company and General Manager, ensuring that the brand values and standards are delivered, and budgeted profitability is achieved.
You will lead all day-to-day operational planning and delivery, offering best practice and guidance to the onsite team.
As a Bar & Retail Manager you will proactively manage catering teams on site as well as be accountable for recruiting, inducting, training and supporting staff to deliver an efficient, high quality service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Motivating and managing a team
- Training and promotion of Service Excellence
- Controlling and managing a budget
- Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence
- Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues
- Management of EPOS system and cash reconciliation
- Stock ordering and management
- Supplier engagement and relationship building
- Housekeeping of retail and bar areas
- Product innovation and management
- Delivery of pre match and event briefings
Working Pattern: 40 hours a week

- Self-motivated and able to work well unsupervised
- Previous experience within bars and cellar management is essential. A minimum of 3 years
- High street or retail food experience is desirable
