• Own the talent map of Regional Chefs - succession planning for key sites and the identification of existing/upcoming talent

As the Operational optimisation & Development Chef you will drive kitchen efficiency and effectiveness in our retail hospitals through process, menu, and resource optimisation

Key Accountabilities:

• Creating and implementing standard operating model for our hospital kitchens including to support a move to in house production of some key categories
• Delivering sales growth and improved profitability through kitchen optimisation and menu engineering
• Supporting the consistent implementation of concept launches and menu changes and taking accountability for the successful implementation of approved commercial activities
• Coordinating and optimising seasonal pop ups and concepts

• Responsible to cook 140-180 meals using a nutritionally balanced meal plan following Elior menus designed in conjunction with the school. Using predominately fresh ingredients where possible

• Controlling and managing a budget
• Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence

What you'll be doing...

As a Pastry Chef you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the food is to the highest standard
• Ensure the kitchen and service area are always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked
• Keep up to date with menus and what food is on offer
• Offer a warm and friendly service
• Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety are followed
