This is working full time hours on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans.
Create and deliver engaging content across multiple platforms.
Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of communication activities.
Support and deliver communication activities for programmes or associated projects.
Build strong relationships within the council’s communications team, its customers and with a range of partners and stakeholders.
Communicate change, employee engagement, and organisational culture change effectively.
Manage external relations and media when delivering your communication plans and activities.
Key Skills and Experience:
Self-starter with a curious mindset and a commitment to personal development.
Team player who is dependable, enthusiastic, and innovative.
Proven track record of quality, creative, and effective communication work.
Excellent copywriting, creative, planning, and influencing skills.
Experience in delivering successful communications that support and drive understanding and adoption of change.
Ability to engage and influence a range of audiences through internal and external channels.
Experience in advising, influencing and challenging colleagues and service delivery partners at all levels on their communications objectives and requirements.
