This role will provide administrative and general support to the HR Business Partners in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment. This role is responsible for handling the transactional and administrative duties that the HR Business Partners delegate based on Human Resource initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing presentations and running reports as needed
• Collect and compile Human Resources metrics and data as needed from a variety of sources including the HRIS, payroll, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, etc. and provide analytical support to illustrate key Human Resources initiatives as needed
• Ensure proper administration and adherence to corporate policies and procedures
• Partner with HRBPs to support annual performance management process, including promotion process, headcount planning, talent reviews, and merit/compensation planning
• Partner with HRBPs and assist in employee relations as needed
• Partner with managers to create job descriptions as needed
• Partner with office management in coordination of events, activities, and training logistics as needed
• Administer internal HR documentation, including transfer/promotion letters and immigration postings as needed
• Model and reinforce the DINE VALUES

• Develop strong professional relationships with team members & managers to serve as a first line resource for their needs
• Manage assigned projects and workflows that contribute to a stream-lined and highly responsive Human Resources function
• Provide administrative support with managing and helping to deliver key Human Resources initiatives possibly including engagement surveys, internships/mentor development and staff training/orientation
• Contribute to efforts to build a world class employee culture through employee relations activities
• Provide support on annual required posting and compliance initiatives
• Any other task as assigned
• Target base salary $65k

The Director, Human Resources will be a strategic business partner that helps drive a high-performance culture through the creation and implementation of people strategies including: talent management and succession planning, leadership and organizational development, change management, employee relations and engagement and recognition.

The position will report to the VP, Human Resources and will be the primary business partner to the President, IHOP and the IHOP business unit along with other designated groups.

Specific Accountabilities:

• Translate business strategy into people strategies that leverages the organizations current strengths and values while driving culture change for high performance and accountability
• Provide support and partner with the President IHOP in building a high-performance organization that exceeds goals within the framework of Dine Brands vision and values
• Build relationships with franchisees to promote and drive change, enabling system level growth. Build processes and services designed to assist the IHOP franchise community while navigating co-employment risk
• Lead an actionable talent review and succession process that connects performance and cultural values to development and total rewards
• Coach leaders and model behavior that demonstrates a culture that is transparent and values healthy differences of opinion, perspectives and capabilities
• Support, coach and advise team members on their performance and development and the performance and development of their teams.
• Collaboratively drive enterprise improvements in programs and processes that empower team members to perform their best work with a focus on efficiency and consistency
• Participate in cross-functional project teams across the enterprise and within the IHOP brand
• Manage Team Member relations ensuring equitable treatment within the context of the company’s values while mitigating legal risk
• Target Base Salary $165k+

Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years of innovative human resources leadership experience with a large organization or a senior team in a mid-sized company
• A professional career track that includes broad functional exposure in areas of talent management and succession planning, leadership and organizational development, change management, employee relations and engagement and recognition
• Outstanding leadership skills with a proven record of successfully leading teams through periods of change and growth.
• Proven expertise in building consensus and positively influencing the outcome of projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong business acumen with the ability to contribute to business planning and execution

The Specialist, Legal position works closely with the Legal, Development and Operations Departments to ensure timely and accurate data capture, entry and reporting related to franchise transactions on Salesforce and other internal software systems.

Responsibilities

• Data review and entry in Salesforce, including intake from source documents and entry into Salesforce and other software systems

• Initiate, update and closeout franchise transactions in Salesforce and other software systems based on directions from supervisors

• Document and track transaction activity and workflows in Salesforce from transaction origination through closing and throughout franchise lifecycle

• Monitor and mechanically advance workflow steps within Salesforce environment

• Become familiar with lifecycle of routine, recurring franchise transactions

• Manage accuracy of Salesforce database for all new restaurant openings, renewals, refranchises, assignments, amendments, and termination transactions

• Run regular reports from Salesforce and answer or elevate for action ad hoc inquiries on franchise transaction status based on Salesforce data.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting to assist in the financial decision making in the organization.  Provides technical financial expertise to assigned business units and leaders to ensure all financial and operational data, including budgets and forecasts, are available to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform current and historical data analysis and verify that reporting is accurate to the expectations of brand leaders and cost center owners.  This requires analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual results, performing variance analysis to budget and prior periods, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements during preparation of financial forecast updates for assigned business units and departments

• Partner with Operations and Accounting to provide insight and accountable recommendations

• Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support

• Assist in preparing monthly presentation decks for executive leadership, including but not limited to brand financial performance and franchisee financial health

• Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plan and longer-term strategic plans

• Gather financial data of existing and new franchisees to analyze and monitor franchisee financial health; analyses include but not limited to franchisee agreement renewals, openings, closures, transfers, etc.

• Review franchisee submitted P&L statements for accuracy and financial health

• Conducts ad hoc analyses as needed to support operational decision making

Skills & Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, or related field

• 3+ years of relevant experience in financial, business analysis, or accounting

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with all levels of business partners including executive-level management

• Familiar working with large databases and datawarehouses

• Advanced experience with Excel formulas including familiarity with Index, Matching, concatenation, look-ups, and pivot tables.  Experience with power pivots a plus

• Experience with Adaptive and PeopleSoft a plus

• Able to create financial models and conduct variance analyses

• Proficient in PowerPoint and experience building management level presentations

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail a must

• Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Salary starting at $105,000+
