• As deputy to the commander, plans, organizes, and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Group. Provides executive leadership and managerial insight to subordinate 27 SOMXG squadrons.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. With the 27th Special Operations Maintenance Group (SOMXG) Commander, directs, coordinates, and oversees the work of more than 1600 personnel, comprised of three maintenance squadrons and one maintenance operations support squadron.

• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinates. Advises staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher-level management or headquarters. Selects or recommends selection of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignment in consideration of skills, qualifications, and mission requirements. Explains performance expectations to subordinates and employees directly supervised and provides regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses.
• Represents the 58 SOWS within a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with MAJCOMs, other base organizations, senior leadership, squadron commanders, and representatives from other military services, Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and related civilian organizations regarding services provided.
• Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for manpower programs to ensure operations are in line with regulatory and fiscal requirements, support goals, and mission requirements. Studies the structure and/or functions of organizations with extremely interrelated work processes and functions and accurately advises or proposes solutions to improve processes using Continuous Improvement and Innovation methods and techniques and maximize mission accomplishment and resources utilization.

• Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions.
• Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.

• Engineers the base LAN/WAN systems, architecture designs and monitors new network systems, configures, and installs network hardware/software, and maintains optimal LAN operations. Independently installs, configures, and troubleshoots network and application server hardware, operating system software, and peripheral network equipment such as routers, bridges, cabling system, network interface cards, modems, multiplexers, and concentrator.
• Develops and implements configuration management plans to ensure optimization of connectivity between remote sites throughout the installation. Develops and maintains local procedures for networks, system operations, and product assembly and installation.
• Constructs performance data collections and conducts analysis of current procedures and makes quality improvement recommendations to AFTC leadership. Develops and provides technical training on networks and network management software.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the early childhood education specialist or youth development specialist for child and youth programs including child development centers, family child care, school-age, youth programs, and unique child care programs. To train program staff, volunteers, contractors, family child care providers, administrative, and food service staff.

DUTIES:

• Oversees curricula for child development centers, family child care programs, school-age, youth programs and other unique children's programs.

- Plans, organizes, and oversees, the activities of the ISR Flight. Has overall responsibility to the ISR Flight Commander for planning, executing and sustaining intelligence for ISR functions/operations (to include AF Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) weapon system, AF tactical intelligence systems, and AF national intelligence systems, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT/MASINT, Acquisition Intelligence, Targeting, and All-Source/Fusion Analysis) in support of the U.S. Air Force DoD, and National level Agencies in the areas of foreign intelligence, foreign counterintelligence, counterterrorism, anti-terrorism, combat operations, and peacekeeping/peace building operations worldwide.

• The primary duties required are those necessary for the journeyman planning, provisioning, executing, evaluating, and reporting of testing of aircraft and their mission planning systems and capabilities.
• Incumbent is responsible for the management, maintenance, and administration of classified and unclassified information systems, devices, and computers to ensure compliance with applicable DoD and USAF requirements.

• Serves as a senior technical advisor. Independently designs, builds, tests and maintains server hardware to meet business needs; translating technical specifications into integrated systems that provide automation of business practices. Works independently or as a member of a team providing system design and programming services for one or more systems or subsystems.

DUTIES:

1. Conducts work measurement, methods and procedures, benchmarking, and/or engineered time standard studies for issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature (e.g., Operations Resource Flight, Travel Voucher Processing, and Personnel Operations within Aircraft Maintenance).
2. Establishes manpower standards for an assigned work area or group of work areas to provide a basis for manpower justifications and improved utilization, and measures the organizational performance index.
3. Analyzes related systems and prepares documents on the use of automated data management systems and methodologies to support manpower workload; manipulates widely used functional area computer applications to satisfy the needs of Capability-based Manpower Studies (CMS) and other special projects or studies.
